Bryce hanging out with his baby sis

I don't know who is having more fun with this toy~ Bryce or Caroline! I didn't notice it when I took the photo, but when I previewed it to put it on the blog, both of them are so into playing that they have their tongues sticking out the same corners of their mouths! What a mess they are!

Bryce LOVES to read so this is a perfect activity for him to share this love with Caroline. He read her newest book (from Ms. Belinda~ Thank you, B!) to her when he got home from school on Wednesday. This was one of Bryce's favorite books when he was a little guy. We didn't think we'd have more kiddos so we gave all of his books in this series away. Now we will have fun building the baby book selection back up again. Bryce and I both enjoy book shopping so this will prove to be some fun Mommy/Son time ahead!

He's so very patient with her. He let her look and touch each page for as long as she wanted to before he'd move on and turn the page. What could have taken 30 seconds for him to read ended up taking a very loooooooong time! Fun time though he thought!

Now here's a funny memory of mine from this particular series of books by Sandra Boynton. One day, when Bryce was little, I came home from work and Jason was 'reading' the 'Barnyard Dance' book to Bryce. Well, he decided he not only needed to read it to Bryce but he was making up his own little rap of the story to Bryce. I so wish I'd have grabbed a video camera at that moment. Instead I gave my presence away by hysterically laughing and then joining in! Good memories indeed! Happy almost the weekend to everyone reading today! Yea, it's Friday!
