Gettin' her some PaPa lovin'!

My Dad, aka PaPa, came over to have steaks with us the other night and Miss Priss was having a GRAND OLE TIME with him in the play room! Dad is in a wheelchair so he pulled up and parked right next to the couch where the princess was perched. She had just discovered her Daddy's collection of military coins behind the couch (given to him over the years he's been in the Air Force) and was seriously getting into them! Dad was able to turn it into a game with her and the two of them passed different coins back and forth, back and forth.... This seriously kept her entertained for AGES! And, every time she handed one to Dad he said, 'Thank You'. So, after repeating this pattern over and over we noticed that Caroline was making this noise every time she handed her PaPa a coin. It is hard to describe in words, but to the best of my ability, I'll say she was "humming" the phrase 'Thank You' without saying the words. Then, over the next few days we noticed she is doing this to a few words. She's been 'talking' to us in her own little language for goodness knows how long now! She hums 'Brycey', 'thank you', 'Hiiiiiii', and a few others. It's so wild! See how much fun passing a coin back and forth is? Now you guys can never say you're bored again... Just go get some coins and let the good times roll! ;)

Oh my goodness this was the most PRECIOUS photo I caught that evening. Boy oh boy did she love that game with her PaPa. I love seeing her tiny little hand resting in his. Awww...

Those pictures are beautiful. You should make the bottom one black and white and frame it, it is so sweet. I love watching my children interact with their grandparents, it's so precious.

I love that! There is nothing more special than Papa Lovin! I used that same material when I designed my last model home! Love it! Screaming Meme
