Bust out the candles...

because my kitchen smells FUNKY!

Thank you card_ vinegar dishes008

When your dishwasher fails to tell you (like it's supposed to) that you're totally out of rinse aid and your glasses and silverware get soap spots on them... bust out the vinegar!

Thank you card_ vinegar dishes011

Yes, your kitchen might smell like a London fish and chip shop, but the end results are fan-freakin'- tastic! Whenever my glasses and such need a good sprucing up I grab a 2 pack of vinegar from Sams, fill the sink with that and cold water to top it off, and in go the glasses and silverware first. They soak overnight. The next day I use handy dandy long gloves to take them out and pop them back in the dishwasher that started this whole mess, for a hot rinse. Then comes round #2 with anything else in my cabinets that might need some help. In this case it was some of the everyday Denby dishes and Polish Pottery coffee mugs. Easy peasy! But, be sure to have candles standing by!

Thanks for visiting my blog! You caught me... I'm a blog stalker and will now follow you too. Sorry, it is an addiction that I don't plan on giving up.

I have to know where you found your cutesy dish gloves. I must get a pair for myself and maybe a few others for Christmas gifts. Who wouldn't love a pair of girly girl gloves???

I use vinegar often in my hubby's coffee pot. It makes things run quicker and he likes good tasting coffee!!!!

Have a great weekend and feel free to follow me!

Your new stalker,

My Mom used vinegar for years to clean glases and Caroline's Godmother told me about the big jugs at Sams and that I should just fill a sink and put my silverware in it, too! If it wasn't for Marcy~ we'd have had to buy new silverware! So, thought I'd pass on the secret of the vinegar to you guys in blogland! It ROCKS!

Great idea!! I clean my tile floors with vinegar and water. It is stinky, but it works. Have you gotten your "ITEMs" in the mail yet?

Good idea. I use vinegar to clean a lot of things. I don't mind the smell because it doesn't stick around for long.
Take care!
