TA DA....

....Look what I did on Friday the 13th!

Hair

I donated over 13 inches to Locks of Love. It is a cause near and dear to me after watching my Mom so upset over loosing her hair with each chemo she endured.

Hair

For those of you who have known me for a long time, you know my hair has mostly been all one length, sometimes layered a bit, and that I have only cut it short (above my shoulders) maybe 3 times. Once in the 6th grade, once not long after Bryce was born and once when he was in kindergarten, in 2006. Well, I had an awakening and decided that since I was in my 30's it was time for a change... a grown up 'do that helped someone at the same time. Double bonus!

Hair

Now I'm all set for the summer heat! Come on springtime!

I love your new hair and I'm sure someone else with love your old hair -meaning the hair you are donating! My daughter and I have been growing our hair out for quite a while so we can donate ours to Locks of Love. Every now and then I get a wild hair (no pun intended) and want to take the scissors out after my hair as it is now down to the middle of my back, but still needs a little more for the donation. You just gave me more inspiration to keep growing it. Thanks and Good For YOU!!!!

That is just the most wonderful thing!!! Your new do is too chic...it looks so good! I bet it feels so weird when you shake you head and when you wash it too. Bet it's easier. Wish they could show you how you old hair will be like.

My oldest daughter has donated twice. Her hair is so thick that they get 2 pony tails. It's a great cause and you ended up with a darling hair style!

Good for you. Your hair is so shinny. You could do a hair commercial. Will be great for the summer. My niece (Fran's daughter) donates her hair too. She has super thick hair so it's like donating it twice!

Both of my sisters have donated to locks of love. Sadly my hair has never been long enough. I grow it and grow it, but it never grows... :(
