WOWZERS!

Oh my gosh! See this man right here? I am SO INCREDIBLY PROUD of him!

Jason

The list is out as of 8am, US Central time, Thursday March 5th ... Jason made SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT his first time testing for it! Way to go baby!

As regulated by Congress, only 2% of the entire Air Force at any given time are SMSgts, and only 1% are Chiefs (the next rank after SMSgt and highest Enlisted rank attainable). So, at any given time, only 3% of the ENTIRE Air Force are one of these ranks. I am so proud of my man! You should have seen Bryce's face when I told him the news. His eyes were HUMONGO and his mouth literally DROPPED open! If you know Bryce, you know it's very hard to leave him speechless (his teachers will attest to this fact!) which is what the news resulted in! ;)

* And, how odd is this? Jason was deployed to Qatar in 2006 he found out that he made Master Sergeant and this time he's on a six month 'stateside deployment' to Tampa (fondly referred to as 'Tampastan' by those in his career field!) so we still can't celebrate with him in person. Darn that luck!

Way to go little brother! We are so very proud of you. That is quite an accomplishment but I'm not surprised as you've always been a go-getter. Remember all those times you got me into trouble with mom and dad by being mean to me! :) I love you and wish I could give a big hug in person. Congrats and way to go!

PS: Enjoy that Florida sunshine. It's 72 degrees here today. Yeah!

That IS big-my cousin (who is like my brother) is in the military as a career. He is working his way up as well, and it is a long haul. Congrats to your husband!

I just got your comment-
My cousin is in the Army, and he is below a general, but I don't remember his rank.
He just finished a three year tour to Saudi Arabia-he was responsible for all the supplies comming into the middle east. He is now back stateside, and in spme kind of school for whatever the next step is. Thanks to YOUR husband for all his dedication and hard work! I appreciate his service to all of us!
