Something different...

Hi everyone! I thought I'd try something different with this post. I took a mini 'video clipit' of Caroline the other day. She was in a fantastic mood~ complete with hiccups she couldn't quite shake! I uploaded it to YouTube. Here is the link to view the video:

A Great Day For Ice Skating!

Look what Bryce did for the first time yesterday at the Ice Rink in Fairview Heights!

He kind of 'ran' on the ice at first but after he had a great big fall (bruise on his face today to show for it, poor kiddo), then took a break while the Zamboni came out and did its thing~ he decided to give it a second 'go'...he was skating with no problems and loving it!

In fact, he loved it so much he wants to take ice skating lessons now to learn the basics! Jason and I told him we'd sign him up for the next session if there are any openings left. That would be so fun!

I was taking these pictures from the bleacher balcony seats and must have had the camera on the wrong setting because they are all so dark. But, you get the general idea!

It's Sunday! Newspaper, sale flyer and coupon reading in our house!

Bryce asked if he could put Caroline's socks on the other day for me.

This proved to be a hilarious task! She kept moving her feet, she's ticklish (which did not work to Bryce's advantage), and she wanted to play with him!

There...all dressed and ready for the day!

We just got an email from Jason's little sister, Sara. She is due in July and they just found out it's a.... BOY! Little Jackson James and Princess Caroline can get into mischief together if they're both visiting the Eighmey's at the same time, I'm sure! Congratulations Sara and Ryan on your soon to be bundle of boy joy! xoxo

Caroline turned 7 months old today! What a big girl she is!

Here she is playing in her crib with a coupon from a pack of diapers I just opened while I put them away. Boy can babies go through diapers! I forgot just how many since it's been so long since we did the 'diaper thing' with Bryce!

Good moods all around today!

Happy Saturday Everyone! YEA...THE WEEKEND IS HERE! Bryce's weekend actually started on Thursday because of parent/teacher conferences~ lucky boy! Jason's started today, so that means my weekend started today, too, because I have an extra set of hands to help keep the kiddos entertained and happy! Caroline is taking a morning nap and the boys are playing Wii. It's so unusually quiet here right now. Bryce is taking a break from reading a compiled chapter book of Paddington Bear stories I had signed by the author years ago in England. He was so excited when he and I found that yesterday! Bryce wants to take it to school for 'show and tell' this week! He was reading it last night until after 10pm when I had to make him stop and then again bright and early he got up and turned his bedside lamp on to read some more. I used to be the same way with reading. I hope he continues to enjoy it!

All bundled up!

Caroline is all bundled up to head to the store with Mommy and Bryce. Bryce finally decided what to buy with the money he was given for Christmas from Jason's parents. He chose a new Wii game. He played it at his friend Quinn's house, and fell in love with it! Sports... of course! So, we bundled Caroline up and off we went to the game store. Allison~ what a fun outfit this is~ We love it!
